We are a community health Center working to improve the pysical mental and social well being of the communtiy. DYS/ Roxbury Youth Works
is a community-based nonprofit organization working to create healthy families and strong communities, to inspire young individuals to develop their strengths, and to prepare them to lead independent lives. We work with youth up to 21 years of age who are involved with the court system, the Department of Youth Services, the Department of Social Services. We provide support to these young people and their families in the community. Sportsmen’s Tennis Club (STC) opened in 1961 as the first African-American owned non-profit tennis club in the country. The club offers recreational tennis and fitness programs, as well as instructional and competitive tennis. We also offer programs that enrich the social, emotional and educational development of area youth such as GED programs, SAT prep through the Princeton Review, after-school programs for youth in grades 1-12, and free Saturday gender-specific activities through DEUCE and HEY Sister! THE RIDE is MBTA’s program, which provides transportation to people who cannot use general public transportation because of a physical, cognitive or mental disability. THE RIDE operates in 62 cities and towns, including Waltham and surrounding towns.

The Pass is issued by 13 Massachusetts Regional Transit Authorities and entitles the bearer to reduced fares on all fixed route services across the state, including buses, trains, rapid transit, trackless trolleys, commuter rail, and commuter boat.
